Can I use my account for more than one business?

Yes. Once you have set up your account you can choose with which URL you want to create a campaign. This means you can change between URLs whenever you want and make online ads for your different businesses. To access a campaign, you simply need to check the upper left side of your screen and you’ll find the campaign menu. See how to create your first campaign here.

How much do I have to pay to sign up?

Zero. Advertio is free to sign up and it’s up to you to define how much you want to spend. After you choose your budget, we only charge you when - and if - you reach your  goals. We don’t believe in subscription plans or minimum commitments so, if for any reason you want to suspend your customer acquisition iniciatives, you can do so at any time, without any cancelation fees or advance notice. I didn’t receive a confirmation email. What should I do?

Normally you should receive a confirmation email just seconds after you sign up on our website, but if that is not the case please wait a couple of minutes and check your inbox again. Please note that sometimes the confirmation email may be in your spam folder, so make sure you check that as well. If the problem persists, please contact us directly in the chat window and our team will get back to you soon with a solution.

Why should I use advertio rather than a typical agency?

Mainly because we don’t charge you anything over or above what you would be charged if you used the networks individually, so no matter what type of business you own, we’ll be saving you time and money. We enable you to gather all the information in a single platform without spending any more for that. This will provide you with better reports that will show where your money is being spent and where you should focus your efforts. This process optimises your work: instead of having someone go and check your campaign every day to understand how it is performing, we have an automated process that switches your budget to the ad networks that are achieving better results. How do I create an account?

Creating an account at advertio is very simple. After clicking the signup button you simply have to provide an email address so we can contact you and choose a password. After that you will need to check your inbox and click on the link that we have sent you to confirm your account. Once you have done that, you are all set and ready to start your first campaign. You can also sign up with your Facebook, Google, LinkedIn or Twitter account for an even faster experience. If you could use more help with this let us know in the chat window.

Why can’t I select my Facebook page?

If you’re trying to connect a facebook page with a campaign and it doesn’t show up, that’s most likely because you didn’t grant us access to the desired page. 

In order to fix this, you just need to go to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings and select which pages you allow us to use for you. 

If, after doing so, you still can’t see your Facebook page on our app, please contact us directly on our chat so we can sort that out. 

How do I edit a running campaign?

Editing a running campaign is very easy. Go to your dashboard and find the campaign you want to modify and click the “settings” button. You’ll be able to edit all aspects of your campaign including your ads, audience, keywords and budget. If you prefer, you can also click the “view” button where you’ll see how each of the steps is performing and edit it. Once you have edited everything you wish to, save your changes and your campaign is ready to go live once again. Please note that depending on the changes you make, it may take a few minutes for your campaign to go live again. For example, if you change the image of a Facebook ad, it won’t go live immediately after you click launch, as it will have to be re-approved by Facebook.

How do I change my campaign’s budget?

You can always change your  campaign’s budget, no matter if it’s still in draft mode, paused or running. To do so, you simply have to select the campaign you want to alter, click the “settings” button and go to the budget step, where you can adjust it according to your preferences. Once you do  that, save your changes and your campaign will now continue with your new budget. You can also click on the “view” button on your campaign card and see how your campaign is performing and edit the budget.

How do I use Performance Campaigns?

With our Performance Campaigns you won’t have to pay for clicks or ads, but will instead only be charged if and when you achieve the goal you set for your campaign. Here are a few ways of you can use them:

- if you’ve developed an app and want to achieve more downloads, we will only charge per download we generate;

- if you want to increase your follower base, set that goal when creating your campaign, and we will only charge per follower you pick up;

- if you perhaps have a traditional business and are looking for more contacts, so we only charge per phone call you receive.

To take advantage of this, you just need to start your performance campaign, complete all the fields for ad creation and then select a goal for that specific campaign. Once the campaign starts running, you will only get charged once we acquire you those goals. It’s that simple.

How do I use Anna’s automatic ad creation mode?

Our AI Assistant is there to help you out through every step of the campaign creation process and it’s up to you to decide how much you want her to intervene. If you don’t feel comfortable creating the ads yourself because you don’t really know what to write or which keywords to use, you should probably choose the “automatic creation mode”, where Anna creates all the ads for you and you just have to review them. To do so, go ahead and click “create campaign”, then choose the business and language you’ll be using. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be redirected to another page where you should choose the “automatic creation” mode. In that mode, Anna will create all the ads for you by giving you suggestions for your copy, image, audience and keywords so you don’t have to worry about it. That being said, you can always review what Anna creates and make changes to the ads that she creates for you. If, on the other hand, you want to be the one creating your ads, once you’ve chosen your business, language and campaign mode, you should select the “manual creation” mode, where you’ll be in charge of the entire process. If on any step you need some help, you can always ask Anna for suggestions by clicking on her + symbol on mobile, or on her image on desktop.

How do I create my first campaign?

Here’s how you can create an account at advertio:

First, go to advertio.com and click the “sign up” button on the top right corner of the landing page. You can choose to sign up with one of your social media accounts or with an email. If you choose to sign up with the former, you just need to confirm your permission and you’re all set. If you sign up with your email, just type in your email address, choose a strong password and then check your inbox and click on the link we send you in our confirmation email. Once you click it, your account is live and ready.

Can I have multiple campaigns running at the same time?

Yes, you can create multiple campaigns with different purposes at the same time using the same URL. If you want to gather leads for your website but also create awareness about your brand, you can create two different campaigns with different goals to make sure you optimise your chances of reaching your audience. After launching them, you will be able to see on your dashboard how your campaigns are performing and then adjust them as you wish. Can I make changes to a campaign that is already running?

Absolutely. At advertio you’re in charge of your campaigns, which means you can make the changes you want at any time. You can adjust the budget to make sure you fulfil your goals and reach your clients where they are. Also, you can extend the length of a campaign and expand its audience to guarantee that you feel comfortable with what you’re sharing. Why isn’t my campaign running in one of the networks?

There are several reasons for this to happen, one being that your ad was not approved because it violates the network’s policies. If that is the case, we can’t do much about it because each network has its own policies that we all have to observe. Our platform may also have shifted the ad to another network that was delivering better results. This will optimise your budget and make sure you get the best possible results. Lastly, it may also happen when your budget isn’t big enough to run your ad on that specific ad network. To resolve this issue, you can increase the amount in Budget & Schedule at any time. If none of these things seems to be happening and your campaign is not running on an ad network please contact us!

How much will I be charged for my campaigns?

That’s completely up to you. We don’t require any minimum or maximum spend so you are able to choose when and how much you want to be charged every time you create a campaign. Also, if you change your mind you can adjust your budget accordingly in the Budget & Schedule tab. No matter your budget with our Performance campaigns, you can advertise risk-free. This means that no matter if you are looking for more sales, likes, downloads or bookings you will only be charged every time we acquire a new customer for your business, not per ads.

What ad networks can I use?

At the moment you can get your ads on Google, Bing, Facebook and Instagram. We want to make sure you have the best possible experience so we’ve partnered with the biggest advertising platforms in the market to make sure you can take the most out of your budget and reach your goals. This is an ongoing process so you can expect more ad networks in the future.

Understanding your reports.

Once your campaign starts running, you’ll be able to check reports on its performance. To check those, go to your dashboard, select the campaign you want to analyse and click the “view” button. You’ll be redirected to your reports page where you’ll see how your campaign is performing when it comes to the goal you’ve selected (for example clicks, calls, etc); the number of impressions, the type of device that’s having better results as well as the age group that’s clicking more on your ads and even the social networks and keywords that are gathering more clicks (when advertising on Google and Bing). Please note that these reports may take a few days to have all information as they require some activity on your ads to process the data. If you don’t have any reports after a few days of your campaign running, there may be an issue with its performance, so if that’s the case please contact us directly on our chat in order for us to sort that out.

How long does it take for results to appear on my dashboard?

Usually it takes less than 24 hours, unless there is a problem with the campaign and one or more ad networks reject it. If that is the case we will notify you so that you can change whatever is necessary. We sync the campaign on the various networks, wait for approval and receive their data directly on our dashboard. That is why the process is not instantaneous. If your campaign is not running after 24 hours do not hesitate to contact us so that we can take a look at your campaign individually and try to understand if there is a particular issue.

What payment methods are available?

At the moment, you can pay for your campaigns using Visa, Mastercard or American Express. The payment process is very simple and observes all the necessary safety and privacy policies. If you need help with a payment method, let us know in the chat window and we will try to come up with a solution as soon as possible.

How will advertio use my budget?

We want to make sure you get the best possible results, so we optimise your budget between the various ad networks. This means we use technology to understand and predict which ad networks are underperforming and which are doing better for your specific business and then automatically shift the budget to those that are achieving better results. When do you charge my credit card?

We will charge you right after you set up your campaign and your ads start running. After that it’s up to you to choose between three different options: we will charge you again after three, seven or 15 days, depending on which option you go for.

What happens to the money that is not spent during a campaign?

When your campaign ends up not spending all the allocated budget, the remaining amount will be refunded as a voucher that you can use on your next campaigns. If by any chance you do not receive the voucher with the remaining amount, please contact us so we can work out what happened and resolve the situation. Do you have special pricing offers for advertising agencies?

Yes, advertio is free for less than 100 campaigns so if you’re expecting to do more than that, you should let us know so we can tailor our offer to your specific needs.
