Executive Vice President, Global Partner at Yext, Luis Baptista-Coelho, joins online advertisement platform Advertio to help its team expand internationally. The Portuguese start-up that helps SMB’s building and managing their online campaigns has a strong ambition to become a global brand and counts with Baptista-Coelho’s solid experience to scale businesses all around the world.
Luis Baptista-Coelho joined Yext in September 2014, where he is also responsible for managing reseller partners, with the aim of expanding the North American operation to other countries. The company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), since 2017, operates in countries throughout the world. Based in Switzerland, he holds an MBA from ESCP Europe: Paris-Oxford-Berlin and received Executive Educations at Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School.
By joining the board of Advertio, Luis Baptista-Coelho intends to “contribute with the experience and know-how in the creation of international expansion strategies while also sharing the benefits of Advertio’s technology to small and medium-sized businesses globally.” Attracted by the “vision of democratizing impactful advertising spending”, Luis will advise the team led by João Aroso in approaching small and medium-sized companies and business aggregating platforms, which will see greater value in the value proposition of the Portuguese start-up.

The simplified platform for creating and managing online advertising campaigns was launched about two years ago and, in 2019 alone, managed over 2 million euros in campaigns, which generated over 10 million euros in revenue to advertisers. It is currently responsible for managing over seven thousand campaigns.
